Lamentation of Jerusalem

The Lamentations Of Jeremiah
Jimmy Swaggart Expositor’s Bible,
Apostles Comments in Blue
Chapter One
(588 B. C.)

Sorrow Over Jerusalem’s Desolate State

-How doth the city sit solitary, that was once full of people! how is she become as a widow! she that was great among the nations, and
princess among the provinces, how is she become tributary!(The word “How,” opens the Lamentations of Jeremiah. What makes the
word so amazing is that it is asked by the Holy Spirit, not as a question, but as an exclamation!How could this have happen to Jerusalem?
These who are on their way to captivity in Babylon, are the People of God. This ruin city is His City. The Temple where he once dwelt
now lies at smoking ruin. How could this has happen?!) {“I’m reminded of territory Spirits inquiry, “America, have you ever fallen before?”}
-2. She weepeth sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks: among all her lovers she hath none to comfort her: all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies. (Who are these lovers” and friends,” who have dealt treacherously with Her” and become her enemies?” These are the Adomites, Ammorites, Moabites, etc. These are the neighboring nations with which Judah formed all alliances, which included Egypt, as well! The Holy Spirit bringing it out that she preferred these to Jehovah. As well their gods were made her gods. But Where are they now?
-3. Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude: she dwelleth among the heathen, she findeth
no rest: all her persecutors overtook her between the straits. (Judah’s captivity was to be an exile of “affliction,” and “great servitude”
She served heathen gods, now she must serve their master, Satan. She will find him a hard taskmaster! She now dwell among the Heathen.” She desired their ways, and now she given nothing but their ways. Consequently, she finds no rest.”) {I was standing in the kitchen I was giving my grandson Caden and my Grand niece Lawren something to drink, when the Holy Spirit began inquiring, “do they know, do your children know, that although they grew up in free territory, that though you, their parents grew up in free territory, that their children will grow up in occupied territory, in an occupied America? Apb}
-4. The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are
afflicted, and she is in bitterness. (The ways of Zion were the Ways of God; however Judah forsook those ways for the world, But she found
only “bitterness.”)
-5. Her adversaries are the chief, her enemies prosper; for the LORD hath afflicted her for the multitude of her transgressions: her children are gone into captivity before the enemy. (Long before Judah was a people or Jerusalem was a city, Moses had said that this would happen
If she turn her back on God {Deut., Chapt. 28}).
-6. And from the daughter of Zion all her beauty is departed: her princes are become like harts that find no pasture, and they are gone
without strength before the pursuer. (“All her beauty is departed, refers to her glory, This glory was God, who is now “departed,” The purser”
Is Satan, and Judah has no strength,” to resist him).
-7. Jerusalem remembered in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that she had in the days of old, when
her people fell into the hand of the enemy, and none did help her: the adversaries saw her, and did mock at her sabbaths. (The days
of old refer to the times God was paramount, and Judah and Jerusalem enjoyed his Blessings. These are pleasant things.” Now they’re gone!
-As she suffer in affliction and misery,” she can “remember!”)
-8. Jerusalem hath grievously sinned; therefore she is removed: all that honoured her despise her, because they have seen her nakedness: yea, she sigheth, and turneth backward. (Sin was the procuring cause of the city’s ruin. She had grievously sinned.” As a result of her refusing
to repent, “she is removed.” Those who once, “honored her” now despise her.” Satan does that! He uses a person up, and then he
throws them aside.)
-9. Her filthiness is in her skirts; she remembereth not her last end; therefore she came down wonderfully: she had no comforter. O LORD,
behold my affliction: for the enemy hath magnified himself. (Her filthiness is in her skirts,” means that for a period of time her defilement
was hidden underneath her skirts {Jer. 13:22,}. Now these skirts have been removed, and her “nakedness,” is obvious to all. The expression
“O LORD, behold my affliction, is the Messiah, impersonating Jerusalem. Now their affliction becomes his affliction. Such Love
{forgiveness, Apb,} one cannot understand. Such is this intercessory role, not only then, but now {Heb. 7:25} )
-10. The adversary hath spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things: for she hath seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary,
whom thou didst command that they should not enter into thy congregation. (“The heathen entered into her sanctuary,” refers to the
soldiers of Nebuchadnezzar, entering into the temple, and even into the Holy of Holies and all because Judah had long since lost the meaning
Of these things. {Deut. 23:3, Ezek. 44:9}.)
-11. All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for meat to relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and consider; for
I am become vile. (They seek bread, refers to natural bread, which was in short supply. They had to come to this place, the place of
Starvation, because they forsook the “spiritual bread,” i. e. the Word of God.)
-12. Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? Behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger. (The Holy Spirit desires the Reader to know and understand that it is not
Nebuchadnezzar who brought this on, but the LORD, His “anger” was “fierce,” because Judah’s sin was fierce.”)
-13. From above hath he sent fire into my bones, and it prevaileth against them: he hath spread a net for my feet, he hath turned me back: he hath made me desolate and faint all the day. (When the messiah soul was made an offering for sin upon the Alter of Calvary {Isa. 53:10}, then verses 12 through 15 were fulfilled; for although these words have an application to Jerusalem, their interpretation belongs to him.){Seen to be seeing in great bold print the two words SIN-BAD, as so a voice declaring: “Nazi Mom,” great agony on the planet. Apb}
-14. The yoke of my transgressions is bound by his hand: they are wreathed, and come up upon my neck: he hath made my strength to
fall, the LORD hath delivered me into their hands, from whom I am not able to rise up. (As stated, Jerusalem is addressed, but Christ is
Intended. As God compelled Judah to bear the punishment of her sins like wearing a yoke or wreath around her neck, likewise. He
compelled Christ to do the same in order to deliver man {II Cor. 5:21}. The Lord did such to Jerusalem because they would not heed
his clarion call to repent, and He did it to Christ in order that man may be delivered from the terrible, crushing blow of sin. The load was
so heavy that they were not able to rise up: however, the Lord, i. e., “Adonai,” raised Christ from the dead and he will yet restore
Judah and Jerusalem.)
-15. The LORD hath trodden under foot all my mighty men in the midst of me: he hath called an assembly against me to crush my young men: the LORD hath trodden the virgin, the daughter of Judah, as in a winepress. (This verse confirms the fact that Judah trusted in her “mighty men,” and her “young men,” rather than God. As a result, “the Lord has trodden under foot all those upon which Judah depended.){My first ever vision, was while I stood in a mirror, taking on an imagine, did I witness the Throne of God with Its Back to the church, at interceding immediately. Apb}
-16. For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far
from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed. (If Judah had weeped as Jeremiah now weeps the enemy would have never prevailed.) {John, when shown the book sealed with seven seals and no man found to break them, nor open this book, he began to weep uncontrollably until he was directed to weep not, behold the lion of the tribe of Judah hath prevailed, this I, this endtime Apostle declare as well toward God weeping uncontrollably that his people die, that they’re being stripped of Jesus Christ, his sore ran deep into the night, but a day has dawn, weep not Abba Father, behold the Seed of David hath prevailed. Apb.}
-17. Zion spreadeth forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her: the LORD hath commanded concerning Jacob, that his adversaries
should be round about him: Jerusalem is as a menstruous woman among them. (Judah spurned the call so long, until the Lord hath commanded concerning Jacob” that judgment must come; and judgment did come! As a “menstruous women,” Jerusalem must go through her period of uncleanliness and, thereby, become purified before she will be acceptable. This will happen as the Second Coming. The Prophet Zechariah said so {Zech. 13:1}. )
-18. The LORD is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment: hear, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorrow: my virgins
and my young men are gone into captivity. (True repentance vindicates God and condemns self)
-19. I called for my lovers, but they deceived me: my priests and mine elders gave up the ghost in the city, while they sought their meat
to relieve their souls. (The “lovers,” were the surrounding nations, who had proclaimed their devotion to Judah, but in fact “deceived
me.” Judgment was poured out upon the “Priests,” and “Elders,” as well! In fact, they were singled out, because they lead a parade
of rebellion against God and against his word.)

Jeremiah’s Distress

-20. Behold, O LORD; for I am in distress: my bowels are troubled; mine heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled: abroad the sword bereaveth, at home there is as death. (The Holy Spirit here proclaims to us the fact of Judah’s “distress” her “trouble” and her “broken
Heart.” All of this is because they have grievously rebelled against God. )
-21. They have heard that I sigh: there is none to comfort me: all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that thou hast
done it: thou wilt bring the day that thou hast called, and they shall be like unto me. (“They are glad that you have done it, refers to the
gloating of Judah’s enemies over her destruction. Jehovah shows his people that their safety, security and protection never were in these
nations or alliances with them, but in Jehovah. It’s a lesson the modern church {America, Apb}, desperately needs to learn! )
-22. Let all their wickedness come before thee; and do unto them, as thou hast done unto me for all my transgressions: for my sighs are
many, and my heart is faint. (The terms of this proclamation found in Jer. Chpts. 50-51, which declares that the Medes will inflict the same
cruelty upon Babylon which Babylon inflicted upon Jerusalem. From the fact must be learn the lesson not to rejoice when calamity
falls upon an enemy. The evil which brought judgment upon him, also dwells in us! As such, none has any right to boast, but rather
to mourn.)

Chapter 2
(588 BC)
Zion Under Judgment

-How hath the LORD covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger! (The deep sorrow of this chapter is occasioned by the recognition of the fact that the wrath that over threw the temple was Divine Wrath. Never had there been, therefore, such sorrow. But this foreshadowed the Wrath which smote the True Temple at Calvary. That was sorrow indeed, for that Temple was without blemish and undefiled, while the Temple at Jerusalem, which God had planned and set up, had been polluted by man. )
-2. The LORD hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: he hath thrown down in his wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he hath brought them down to the ground: he hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof. (These verses plainly proclaim the fact that God was the sole Source of Judah’s blessings, as he is the sole source of the blessings of the Church. If He is repeatedly insulted by sin, with a refusal to repent, He will, “throw down,” the Church “in his Wrath,” exactly as he did Jerusalem of old. Paul said so {Rom. 11:18-22}. ){One of the first visions given this apostle was that of a burning church, I witness that the smoke thereof went up to God weeping and mourning, behold it is the church, it has been cast down and literally destroyed, but it can be rebuild, back upon the foundation laid by Christ and his Holy Apostles, I didn’t realize it then, but was this the foundation not mde with hands, by which I was in these Last days appointed by Christ Jesus Himself, an end time apostle. Apb.}
-3. He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about. (“The Horn of Israel,” refers to the king of Israel. He had cut them off in his fierce anger,” because of sin. He has drawn back His right hand from before the enemy,” refers to the Lord lifting His Hand of protection over Israel, permitting the enemy to destroy His People. Repentance would have stopped this, but, despite Prophet after Prophet being sent by the Lord, with Jeremiah being the last, Jaboc would not repent {Matt. 23.37 }.) {see the Intrepid Dream 2001, The Pale Horse, where America, the free world is given an additional 190 months, that’s 15.10 years to repent or for all eternity on this planet perish… Apb.}
-4. He hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury like fire. (Even though Nebuchanezzar was the instrument, the Lord was the Author. He actually became Israel’s “Adversary.”) {A Voice Declaring: “God said he’s going to Kill millions,” the anti-Christ to kill millions upon millions, Apb}
-5. The LORD was as an enemy: he hath swallowed up Israel, he hath swallowed up all her palaces: he hath destroyed his strong holds, and hath increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation. (“The Lord was an enemy,” does not actually say that He was an enemy, but as an enemy.” In other words, He Who was accustomed to blessing Israel now does them harm, as an enemy would do, again because they would not repent.){All doing the night recently the Selah song standing on the promises of God, asking whether or not your sins have been washed in the blood of the lamb, encouraging my lastest inquiry of readers, “can you wear white?” Apb}
-6. And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest. (This verse proclaims the apparatus of the entire worship of God being taken away. It included this “Tabernacle,” which pertained to all the Holy Vessels which symbolized the Coming Redeemer.
-In Fact, He took everything away because Israel had grossly polluted it.) {Given a better, highly concerning revelation of the first vision ever I had, of God’s Throne with his back to the church, 1986, this is why this so crossed by sin God can now only be commune upon by the bloody cross. This one namely Jesus Christ crying aloud he’s the way, truth and the life, no man, meaning no man can commune with, live by or be blessed by God except by Christ’s Cross… NO MAN!}
-7. The LORD hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the LORD, as in the day of a solemn feast. (“The Lord has cast off His Alter,” is awful indeed! This was the Braken Alter, which was a type of Calvary. They didn’t want the cross,” so the Lord took the cross away ) {They don’t want the cross, they don’t want Jesus, they want God, because HE IS LOVE, (see mass assembly), but they don’t want Jesus because HE IS SACRIFICAL and suggest that his followers be also., BORN AGAIN, FORGIVING and LOVING. “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, how often would I have gathered you together, but you would not, …behold I stand at the door and knock,” Jesus, APB}
-8. The LORD hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he hath stretched out a line, he hath not withdrawn his hand from destroying: therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament; they languished together. (“He has stretched out a line,” expressed unsparing demolition {II Ki. 21:13}. ) {A Voice Declaring: {“ In one dream doing which I witnessed America under attack, Walmarts burning, people taken hostage, did I pull from the sink while washing dishes a long strand of a length of hair which was to act as a measuring stick, tool, Apb.}
-9. Her gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the LORD. (“the Law is no more,” is devastating! A material temple was indispensable to its continue existence and enforcement; however, the Temple was destroyed and the Sacrifices were stopped! The only Light was now extinguished!){I can’t tell you how it broke my heart, God knows, reading behind an author concerning the rapture, just to hear him say, once the rapture happen, this world will never be the same, and most people like during Noah’s Flood are completely oblivious, Apb}
-10. The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground, and keep silence: they have cast up dust upon their heads; they have girded themselves with sackcloth: the virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground. (If the action of this verse had been done when the Lord commanded them to repent, the horror of this time would never had happen.)
-11. Mine eyes do fail with tears, my bowels are troubled, my liver is poured upon the earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my people; because the children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city. (This speaks of acute shortage of food, with children staggering because of physical weakness. Israel was brought to this state, with some of them even becoming cannibals and eating their own sons and daughters, because of their sinfulness against Jehovah. This was predicted by Moses {Lev. 26:29, Deut. 28:53},){I looked in this dream years passed, where I saw a quarter fall to the floor, then I witnessed both the healthy man and the poor man going after the quarter look to me for advice, and I said, “well to be honest, the quarter now belong to the beggar,” Apb. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kzigpeh3Y7U}
-12. They say to their mothers, Where is corn and wine? when they swooned as the wounded in the streets of the city, when their soul was poured out into their mothers' bosom.
-13. What thing shall I take to witness for thee? What thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? What shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion? For thy breach is great like the sea: who can heal thee? (“The statement of this verse is that it is impossible to console Jerusalem by pointing to others in a like affliction, for her misery was greater than there had ever been, and for the obvious reason. In fact, her misery was so bad that only the Lord could heal such!)
-14. Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment. (“And they have not discovered your iniquity,” means that these false prophets would not point out Israel’s sin; they rather preached what Israel wanted to hear. The words “false burden,” refer to false prophecies. The Holy Spirit here says that the false prophets “ lead this parade, which lead to total destruction.) {A Voice Declaring: “Strip Americans like my servant Job, naked and bear,” …”Asteroid! Destroy Wisconsin!” (American constantly sinning, Apb}
-15. All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth? (Jerualem had been the capital of the whole earth, “ beause the Lord Himself dealt in Jeruaslem, actually in the Temple between the Mercy Seat and the Cherubim. But now all of that is gone) {Now he dwell within the Cross and the Church bride and that too is to be lifted from the earth, woe, woe and woe., Apb}
-16. All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it. (These “enemies,” are some of the nations that Judah thought were her friends. Jerusalem embrace their gods and thereby forsook Jehovah. All the time these “friends” where secretly “hissing and gnashing their teeth in anger” ; they hated Judah and Jerusalem, the world is not our friend!){seen to be dozing into a sleep, seen to be seeing passing like a panorama before my eyes, the name Jeremiah and the numbers, 37:8, 1998 Apb. }
-17. The LORD hath done that which he had devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old: he hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he hath caused thine enemy to rejoice over thee, he hath set up the horn of thine adversaries. (“The Lord Has done that which he devised,” refers to the fulfilling of his Word, which He hath given to the Prophets many years before and many times. So Israel had no excuse.) {There’s something about the two part word Sin-Bad, and a voice declaring, Nazi Moms, Apb.}
-18. Their heart cried unto the LORD, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease. (While it is true that Judah and Jerusalem are under the judgment hand of God, still the Holy Spirit through the Prophet implores the people to come before the Lord with a broken heart and Mercy, at least in some respect will be given.){Seen to be looking into a list of names, some of which momentarily I’m able to read, the book of life amazingly on the map, Apb}
-19. Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the LORD: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street. (Despite the anger of the Lord against Judah and Jerusalem {because they would not repent}, still the Lord was their only hope, as he had always been their only hope. So, they were exhorted to “cry out in the night” to Him. Even though Judah and Jerusalem could not be spared , as is obvious still, the Lord tells these hapless survivors that he can help, and He in fact will help, if they will only seek his face.)
-20. Behold, O LORD, and consider to whom thou hast done this. Shall the women eat their fruit, and children of a span long? shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord? (Even though Judah and Jerusalem have grievously sinned and refused to repent, which is the cause of all this problem, Jeremiah pleads for help. Inasmuch as the Holy Spirit allowed this to be recorded, the indication is that the Lord would “consider” and show Mercy.)
-21. The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; thou hast slain them in the day of thine anger; thou hast killed, and not pitied. (The ideal of this petition in this Verse is that Jeremiah pleads to the Lord that great Judgment has already been carried out on the people, with many killed and others in a state of acute starvation, so now surely the Lord will show Mercy. “You have killed, and not pitied,” portrays the past tense; surely at the present “pity “can be shown.)
-22. Thou hast called as in a solemn day my terrors round about, so that in the day of the LORD's anger none escaped nor remained: those that I have swaddled and brought up hath mine enemy consumed. (“Those who I have swaddled and brought up has my enemy consumed,” seems to refer to the possibility of some of Jeremiah’s relatives being killed in the carnage. If in fact this did happen, it would have been a just vengeance carried out by the Lord, because these very individuals, Jeremiah’s family, has sought his life because they did not like what he preached {Jer. 12:6}. )

Chapter 3
(588)
LAMENT Over Jerusalem Downfall

-I AM the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath. (The Prophet speaks here as a representative of the nation. He speaks as true
intercessor, thereby associating with the sin of the people, even though he himself hath not sinned. Such was Christ. He who knew no sin entered into the penalty of our sin in order to make proper intercession for the believer, which he does by simply being in the Presence of the Father, { Heb. 1:3, 7:25 }.) Everything which make possible intercessory on our behalf was done and finished at Calvary.
-2. He hath led me, and brought me into darkness, but not into light. (The idea is; if a person wills Light, God wills Light unto him, however if
he wills darkness, such is willed unto him!)
-3. Surely against me is he turned; he turneth his hand against me all the day. (Upon obedience, “his hand is for me,” upon his disobedience
His hand is against me. )
-4. My flesh and my skin hath he made old; he hath broken my bones.(The Lord promise healing to his people as long as they follow Him, {Ex.
15:26; Ps. 103:3}. Conversely, if they did not follow Him, there would be no healing.)
-5. He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall and travail. (The idea is: the Lord can “compass,” us with blessing or trouble, all
dependent upon our obedience or disobedience!)
-6. He hath set me in dark places, as they that be dead of old. (Even though these were God’s chosen People, still sin would destroy them
Just as readily as it destroyed the heathen of old, i.e., “the flood.”) {This heinous invasion happen as quickly as one turning his head from one
side to another, immediately I found myself in outer darkness, although simple darkness would’ve been a God sent in comparison to this
consuming evil which was a far greater detriment I tell you there was a void there, an emptiness and silence, a massive hollowness
unexplainable, human’s don’t realize it but this noisy world all around them, like the Cock I hear crowing every morning, the train, or planes
flying over, even the sound of neighbors going to and fro. The one thing I learn from this black abyss is all sounds, noises have a form of
medicating calm, of belonging despite how disruptive at times, again and again this abstruse emptiness, this soundlessness was beyond anything
thought terrifying. Just as soon one approached me, he had to have or be a light warranting detection as I was captured into a blackness
indescribable, he hand his hand toward me, began to lead me. As he lead me although there was darkness all around still, every move I made
there came a light under each step, a light under each footprint, and just as soon there was all around me not just this light, but writings, and
voices and revelations, up and down, and all around, precept upon precept and line upon line were I begin to realize, I was walking in revelation,
the same one spoken by John the Revelator, and soon the dream passed from me. Apb}

-7. He hath hedged me about, that I cannot get out: he hath made my chain heavy. (“He has made his chain heavy,” corresponds to the “chain or the “weight” [sin] that we are admonished to lay aside, which we can do only by looking to Christ and the Cross {Heb. 12:1}.) If we do not Look to Christ and the Cross, it cannot be laid aside and it will become heavier and heavier until we are imprisoned.)
-8. Also when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer. (“The Psalmist said, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me”
Ps. 66:18){the Holy Spirit will tell you, I did a double take when I saw this scripture, I would not be the Apostle I’ve been for nearly thirty years now if I’d not been testified upon of this one scripture. I never, ever forgot it, never. The man who would become my husband in Christ, he and I married, so we wouldn’t be in sin, losing him nearly three years ago, I’ve married a second time, so he nor I would be in sin.
-Anyway, he’d received Jesus into his heart, he’d been witnessing to me for months, by this time I’d given up my weekend night life, but I was
still lost, nothing this man said or did made a difference except it infuriated me through and through for months.
-Then suddenly thank the Halleluiah Lord he quote this one scripture to me, Pslam 66:18, “if I regard iniquity in my heart the lord will not hear
me,” immediately I became totally horrified. Horribly realizing how all my nearly thirty years, all this time I’d called on him. I looked to him
needed him and depended on him and he could not have anything to do with me because I was born sin and now lived my life in sin, again
I was petrified, I’ve been in Christ, Jesus, mankind’s one blood redemption since, Apb. }

-9. He hath inclosed my ways with hewn stone, he hath made my paths crooked. (As the lord had taken great pleasure to bless his people
Now he takes great measures to do the very opposite. However, it is meant to be corrective rather than destructive.){For God so Loved The World
Jn. 3:16, Apb…}

-10. He was unto me as a bear lying in wait, and as a lion in secret places. (“Bears and “Lions are carnivorous animals, fierce by nature ,
Therefore, for the Lord to position Himself in this manner regarding His Children demonstrate His use of measures of extremity. Instead
Of Him being the Shephard, He now turns to be the destroyer of the sheep, as Judah woefully found out!){So are all unrepentant men, nations,
in this order, carnivorous animals, beast, of which I witness two (beast) rise just before the Obama administration, one from land, one from the
sea, after this I witnessed complete chaos, as so just recently I witness such a beast biting and chomping it’s way from the pulpit , just tearing into the pews ,Apb, }

-11. He hath turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces: he hath made me desolate. (In just judgment, The Divine Hand has broken
in pieces the nation which that same Hand had established. What He builds up, He is able to pull down.)[Seen to be seeing America, Britain go
in separate directions, a voice declaring, “America, Russia, separate them into itty, bitty pieces.” Apb.]

-12. He hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow. (The target once was Israel’s enemies. Now Israel has turn to be the enemy
Of God, and therefore the “mark,” of His arrow.”)
-13. He hath caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins. (The reins speaks of the very seat of ones being. The Lord Shoots the arrow
To the place where the sin begins, which is the heart.)
-14. I was a derision to all my people; and their song all the day. (The phrase probably would have better been translated , “I was a derision to
all people.,” referring to the surrounding nations, as they looked upon the destruction of Judah and Jerusalem.
And their song all the day,” refers to songs of mockery and derision by the heathen regarding the destruction of God’s People.)
-15. He hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood. (The word bitterness means “bitter troubles.” The word
wormwood actually means to “curse.” Instead of the Lord blessing Judah He now curses Judah.)
-16. He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, he hath covered me with ashes. (“He has covered me with ashes,” is a figurative
expression of great humiliation.)
-17. And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I forgat prosperity. (This may have been a quotation from Psalm 88:14, the “prosperity
Addressed here is spiritual prosperity, which results in all other prosperity as well!)
-18. And I said, My strength and my hope is perished from the LORD: (Judah, because of spiritual declension, forgot that her “strength” and
“hope” were in the Lord. He was the source of her blessings. But being lifted up in pride, she began to think that Jehovah would not, and could not
Abandon her, because of her unite place and position as His Special People. They would find that the Lord could not abide sin, irrespective
as to who the people were. {all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, Apb}
-19. Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall. (The word, “remembering,” is the state to which the Holy spirit
desires to draw the person. He want the person to remember the cause of the “affliction” and “misery“ resulting in “the wormwood and the
gall.”)
-20. My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me. (Verses 19 and 20 are very similar to Ps. 42:5. Now the individual,
Or in this case Judah, remember why she is in this condition, “and is humbled.”)
-21. This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. (This verse could as well be taken from Ps. 42:2. Jeremiah’s statements thus far concerning
Judah have been of despair, but now God’s Promise of Mercy and Grace come to his “mind,” Only this can give him hope,” as this is the only sure
“hope” for anyone!)
-22. It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. (As the Prophet enters the intercessory role,
he will now learn that God Himself , in the absence of all outward fellowship, is a sufficing portion for Faith, and even in the face of what look like catastrophic defeat. The Holy Spirit directs Jeremiah’s attention and hence Judah’s away from their plight to “the Lord’s Mercies.)
-23. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. (In a sense, God’s Mercy cannot be exhausted, because it begins anew each and
every morning.” As well one can be certain this will never change, because the Holy spirit says, “Great is your Faithfulness.”)
-24. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. (“The Lord is my portion,” proclaims the fact that anything and every
thing that any person need is found in the Lord, and only in the Lord {II Pet. 1:3-4, Ps. 16:5}. )
-25. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. (The intimation is: If we properly seek Him, even though
It may take some time we will “find Him,” Lk. 11:5-13.)
-26. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. (It means to wait in travail, and with great burden
of soul. Of Necessity it is placed beside “quietly wait” , which speaks of serenity. Therefore, this waiting will incorporate times of travail
interspersed with times of serenity.)
-27. It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth. (This verse may have been derived from Ps. 119:71.)
-28. He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it upon him. (The idea is: the individual should not blame God for the
problem, neither should he complain about his woeful situation, but instead “keep silence,” and “bear it with patience” believing that
most surely the Lord will come to his rescue and deliver him).{I can here only be reminded of the gigantic, diamond, crystal Dove I
watch a bright sun shape into doing one of my most depressing moments on this planet. It, this inconceivable phenomenon descended
straight down to me, as to kiss me and ascended again into the heavens. I at this very second right here, know what father Swaggart would
say, this was a form of the great gathering of saints, of Jesus coming after the Church Bride, and although I don’t rightly remember it, this
unpronounced spectacle blocking out the sky didn’t descend only to kiss me, us, but to gather us and take us to heaven to live with Christ
Jesus forever, Malachi did refer to Him, as the Sunlight of God, blessed ‘be the name of the Lord. Apb}

-29. He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope. (“He puts his mouth in the dust, is an oriental manner of expressing
Submission which is one of the lessons the Holy Spirit desires to teach.)
-30. He giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach. (“He gives his “cheek,” to him who smites him, ) {seen to be
seeing a US General hand his horse off to the Prophet Jeremiah citing no contest, the fulfillment of biblical prophecy on the map. Apb}
-31. For the LORD will not cast off for ever: (the Lord will not afflict forever, meaning that it will come to an end if we only trust Him.)
-32. But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies. (We have the assurance that any
“grief ” He causes is brought about for our good, and is done with “Compassion,” and “Mercy,.” What a wonderful Lord we serve!
-33. For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men. (God does not afflict in a malicious spirit like man does. Men afflict
others in order to help. God afflicts in order to help, i.e. to bring us to a place of maturity. )
-34. To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth. (In this case the prisoners of the earth refer to all the unhappy Jewish captives
of the Babylonians. Even though they’d terribly sinned and was therefore under the just judgment of God, still, he will not allow them
to be “crushed.” Ultimately he would deliver them.)
-35. To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High, (the idea is “The Most High,” is the Heavenly Supreme Throne.
Irrespective of what the Individual has done, as Judah if they will sincerely repent, the Lord will guarantee “Deliverance and Restoration” and
Will not turn aside the right of that man.”)
-36. To subvert a man in his cause, the LORD approveth not. (“His cause” refers to the word of God being applied to a person’s life and
his trust in it.. “To subvert a man,” refers to those who claim God will no longer show Mercy , Etc. “The Lord approves not” means that
irrespective of what man may say, the Lord will not approve of their denial of Mercy and Grace to anyone who meets God’s conditions.)
-37. Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not? (The Holy Spirit ask the question through Jeremiah, who
Is he who says it cannot, when God says it can? Or who is he who says it can, when God says it cannot?” It is what “the LORD commands not
man!)
-38. Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good? (The Lord does not say he will, when He won’t, Neither does he say He
won’t, when he will! {James 3:9-11}. )

JEREMIAH CONFESSION AND REPENTANCE FOR ZION

-39. Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins? (Judah is not to complain of her present condition, because
It is “punishment for her sins.” As such, it should be suffered with dignity, realizing it is just, but always tempered with Mercy. The next verse tells Judah, as well as all others, exactly what must be done!)
-40. Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD. (The purpose of the affliction allowed by the Lord is given in this verse. “And
turn again to the Lord” mean that we been turning to others than the Lord. Self-Will is always the cause of this, which leads one astray from
the bible and therefore from God.
-The word search mean to ferret out that which has been concealed. Our troubles being caused by our sins, let us search them out and allow the
Lord to correct them.)
-41. Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens. (If one is to notice the mere “lifting up of the hands“ within itself is not
enough. ”The heart,” with its corresponding action of Repentance must accompany the physical gesture.)
-42. We have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned. (The pronoun “we” and “You,” as expressed in the Hebrew, are meant to
be spoken with heavy emphasis. Such acknowledges the sin and take responsibility for wrong doing, and is correspondent with I John 1:9.
You have not pardon,” does not have reference to forgiveness of sin, but does rather has reference to the effect of that sin which has continued,
Thus, the affliction.)
-43. Thou hast covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied. (These are the just results of their sin. The
anger” represent a long pent-up anger that is finally released because of constant transgression, rebellion, and refusal to repent, as recorded
in verse 42.
“Persecuted us,” refers to Judah’s enemies having their way with her. )
-44. Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through. (Prayer, cannot “past through” to God if sin is being
Harbored, with a refusal to repent, which was the situation in Judah and Jerusalem.)[I believe this is the hardest truth for mankind to accept
as long as they have America, and the mass assembling of apostate churches, the two powers that support and supervises the veil of illusion
mankind is born under.Apb]

-45. Thou hast made us as the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people. (If the Lord builds up He can also tear down. If he plant
he can also uproot. As He is the author of one He is the author of the other!)
-46. All our enemies have opened their mouths against us. (When Judah was walking with the Lord these enemies did not dare do such! Now that God is no longer with her because of her sins, these enemies feel free to say and do whatever they desire. Consequently, their scorn and
sarcasm knew no bounds.)
-47. Fear and a snare is come upon us, desolation and destruction. (All of this is brought on by a refusal to repent!)
-48. Mine eye runneth down with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people. (In this verse Jeremiah returns to his own
personal grief over the terrible condition of Judah and Jerusalem. He was called the Weeping Prophet, and not without reason, For forty years he
had preached about the coming destruction and had watched that destruction come closer and closer. Still, the people would not repent, but
instead grew worse in their obstinacy and rebellion. And then he was an eyewitness to the actual destruction, seeing exactly what he
prophesied come to pass, which brought about the deaths of tens of thousands of people, etc.)
-49. Mine eye trickleth down, and ceaseth not, without any intermission. (“trickles down,” in the Hebrew, “pours down,” Therefore this verse
speaks of the burden of a broken heart so heavy that it even threatens the life of the Prophet. It was a burden “without any intermission.”)
-50. Till the LORD look down, and behold from heaven. (As far as is known, Jeremiah is one of a precious few who interceded for Judah and
Jerusalem.)
-51. Mine eye affecteth mine heart because of all the daughters of my city. (The Babylonians had no mercy, not even on the women and
children){This is the God these religious leaders who by these left behind movies keep disappearing all churches and all children don’t know,
they don’t know HIM, His Word, Will, His Judgment!}

-52. Mine enemies chased me sore, like a bird, without cause. (This prophet of God had many “enemies,” who constantly attempted to silence
His voice, therefore, “chasing him like a bird.” Furthermore, it was “without cause,” just as the anger and action of the Pharisees against Christ
were “without cause,” of which this type.)
-53. They have cut off my life in the dungeon, and cast a stone upon me. (This incarceration is given in Jer. 38:6. “They cut off my life,” means
that they intended for Jeremiah to die in this dungeon, which would have happen, if the Lord had not intervene.)
-54. Waters flowed over mine head; then I said, I am cut off. (Even though there was no water actually in this dungeon {Jer. 38:6}, still his
enemies, no doubt, removed at times the stone and poured water which was probably filthy, into the dungeon, which flowed over Jeremiah’s
head.”)
-55. I called upon thy name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon. (In any and every situation, the Lord is the only One Who can truly help. For
whatever problem, we need to always call upon “his name.” At this terrible time, Jeremiah no doubt reminded the Lord of the Promise made to
Him at the very beginning of his prophetic Ministry {Jer. 1:19}.)
-56. Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry. (with us at time, even as with Jeremiah, the Lord will always
Adverse things to take place in our lives so that we might learn to trust Him, to believe Him and call on Him. Everything the Lord does and allow
In our lives is for a purpose; to be sure, He guides everything. In other words nothing happens to a believer but that the Lord cause it or
allow it, and all is for our good,
-Verse 56 portrays the physical weakness of Jeremiah while in this dungeon, but yet his great spiritual strength.)
-57. Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not. (In this terrible situation, when Jeremiah,
called upon the Lord, the Word of the Lord came back, ‘”fear not.” That Word, as it was given to Jeremiah, is also given to every true Believer.)
-58. O LORD, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life. (To do this, to redeem the life of the great Prophet, the Lord
would use “Ebed-melech the Ethiopian.”)
-59. O LORD, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause. (“ O LORD you have seen my wrong, does not necessarily mean Jeremiah had
committed a wrong but that the Lord was implored to search His life. Jeremiah believed that the Lord would find no “wrong.” On that basis he
would ask that the Lord would judge his cause , which the Lord definitely did and delivered Him.
-60. Thou hast seen all their vengeance and all their imaginations against me. (It is certain that the Lord sees all, recompense will be made
according to the deeds of all who are concern.)
-61. Thou hast heard their reproach, O LORD, and all their imaginations against me; (this pertains to the plans that these individuals had
devised in order to harm, even kill Jeremiah.);
-62. The lips of those that rose up against me, and their device against me all the day. (It was very easy to speak against Jeremiah doing the
35 years of his prophesying before Jerusalem fell. No one believed in him. But, to be sure the Lord heard every derogatory thing these people said
against the Prophet.) [I remember doing the death rider vision, the holy spirit first admonish me to fret not, rather trust, delight and commit
and I shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and they judgment as the noon day, He will prove his Prophet/Apostle].
-63. Behold their sitting down, and their rising up; I am their musick. (“I am their music”, speaks of the ribald songs of scorn and ridicule
they made up and sang concerning him.)
-64. Render unto them a recompense, O LORD, according to the work of their hands. (This prayer, at least this part, is derived form Pslam
28:4, which was also a prayer of David. Such a prayer is not wrong and can be prayed by presently by Christians, providing their heart is clean
Before God. Jeremiah is speaking of people here who refuse to repent.)
-65. Give them sorrow of heart, thy curse unto them. (“Your curse unto them,” is not known or understood by most Christians. How
ever Deut. Chpt. 28. Proclaims the truth, that God bless obedience while cursing disobedience. Even though this is a day of Grace, the principle
then is the same as then.)
-66. Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD. (And that’s exactly what happen! Once again, “what we
sow, we reap.”)

Chapter 4
(588 BC)
Jerusalem Former Glory And Latter Condition

-How is the gold become dim! how is the most fine gold changed! the stones of the sanctuary are poured out in the top of every street. (The “gold”) in this scripture was figurative. It stand for the greatness and the glory of the Temple in Jerusalem and signifies Deity. It being “dim” proclaims the fact that Jehovah. While having left Judah and Jerusalem, still watches over her from afar.
“How is the fine god changed!” refers to the Lord’s changed manner of operation, typified by the Sanctuary being torn down, stone by stone.
-2. The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, how are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter! (The People of God, typified as “the precious sons of Zion,” and compared to “fine gold,” have now been reduced to no more than a cheap “earthen pitcher” which is easily broken and thrown away.
In regard to this, we might ask ourselves the question, “How does the Lord look at us?” Does he see fine gold or a cheap earthen pitcher?”){more in relation to Ezekiel, I had Holy Spirits to describe to me while riding along with my husband in a car the late nineties, how a day would come in this country how all the prized treasures would become so worthless, so they wouldn’t be able to give them away. Apb.}
-3. Even the sea monsters draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness. (“Sea Monsters,” would have been better translated, “jackals,” The idea is: the people of God had so lost their way until cruelty was the norm.)
-4. The tongue of the sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for thirst: the young children ask bread, and no man breaketh it unto them. (This verse proclaims the fact that little children at the time of the siege were begging for bread, and the adults who had bread would share none with them. Their hearts had grown so hard and cold that they could see a child staggering in the streets for want of bread and show no concern.)
-5. They that did feed delicately are desolate in the streets: they that were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills. (The Prophets speaks of the Nobles of Jerusalem once rich, but now scavenging the streets for a little food. All of this could have been avoided, if, at any time during, the many years of Jeremiah’s Prophecies, they had only heeded the Word of the Lord.)
-6. For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, that was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed on her. (Sodom sinned greatly and had to be destroyed; however Judah sinned against Light, which is far worse! As such, they became worse than the surrounding heathen!)
-7. Her Nazarites were purer than snow, they were whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire (Jeremiah now alludes to Judah and Jerusalem as they once were, when they lived for God and consequently were greatly blessed by Him.)
-8. Their visage is blacker than a coal; they are not known in the streets: their sin cleaveth to their bones; it is withered, it is become like a stick. (Jeremiah, having thought back to the Jeremiah of the past, now portrays their present condition!)
-9. They that be slain with the sword are better than they that be slain with hunger: for these pine away, stricken through for want of the fruits of the field. (Exactly as the prophet had predicted, the living now are worse off than the dead.)
-10. The hands of the pitiful women have sodden their own children: they were their meat in the destruction of the daughter of my people. (Moses about a thousand years earlier prophesied that if Israel turn their back on God, the people would sink to the level of eating their own children. And that’s exactly what happen! {Deut. 28:57}.)
-11. The LORD hath accomplished his fury; he hath poured out his fierce anger, and hath kindled a fire in Zion, and it hath devoured the foundations thereof. (God cannot abide sin in any form, nor in any people, {see AMERICA!}. It must be judged. Wondrously so, it has been judged, in Christ and what he did at the cross. However if men do not accept this atoning sacrifice, they will themselves become a sacrifice, but a sacrifice that will not atone.)
-12. The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should have entered into the gates of Jerusalem. (The miraculous acts of God among his people were legend among the nations of the world of that day. Even though they will not serve HIM, they knew of His Great Power. But when God’s people sinned against him and refused to repent, even after repeated warnings, all that was great had to be destroyed.)
-13. For the sins of her prophets, and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her, (the blame was laid at the feet of spiritual leaders, so –called, of Jerusalem, i.e. her prophets who prophesied falsely and her priest who perverted the law. It is the same presently in the modern church).{After the silence I experienced in heaven doing prayer, and God sobbing uncontrollably how his people were dying, being stripped, how he would in turn strip their leaders.}
-14. They have wandered as blind men in the streets, they have polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not touch their garments. (They were the blind leading the blind and all fell into the ditch. {Mat. 15:14.}. “They have polluted themselves with blood, “means that the blood of the people lost because of their false preaching would be required at their hands [Ezek. 3:17-18].)
-15. They cried unto them, depart ye; it is unclean; depart, depart, touch not: when they fled away and wandered, they said among the heathen, They shall no more sojourn there. (The idea of this verse is about the Jews who left the city for foreign lands before and after the fall of Jerusalem. They would be maltreated at each place they would go with the people of that particular place saying “Depart You.” “It is unclean,” has the same place as the leper who was unclean. In other words, in all these foreign countries, the Jews were treated as “lepers.”)
-16. The anger of the LORD hath divided them; he will no more regard them: they respected not the person of the priests, they favoured not the elders. (This refers to the fact that Judah had shown favor to the heathen priests of the idols gods who came to Jerusalem, but now, as they fled from the Babylonian horde, Judah’s Priests were shown no respect or favor by these heathen.)
-17. As for us, our eyes as yet failed for our vain help: in our watching we have watched for a nation that could not save us. (“The nation that could not save us” was Egypt. If they had sought the Lord they would have been saved:
“Vain help,” adequately describes what Egypt provided; it also describes all that man can do in nay circumstance or at any time.)
-18. They hunt our steps, that we cannot go in our streets: our end is near, our days are fulfilled; for our end is come. (The word “they,” refers to the Chaldeans. Jeremiah now takes the reader back to the moment of the fall of Jerusalem.)
-19. Our persecutors are swifter than the eagles of the heaven: they pursued us upon the mountains, they laid wait for us in the wilderness. (The Jews who tried to escape the city at the time of the siege were easily caught by the Chaldeans.)
-20. The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of the LORD, was taken in their pits, of whom we said, Under his shadow we shall live among the heathen. (“The anointed of the Lord,” probably refers to king Zedekiah. He was last king of Judah. The idea was probably held by the Jews that they could escape to a “heathen country,” and live their lives under their own king, such thing is foolish!)
-21. Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, that dwellest in the land of Uz; the cup also shall pass through unto thee: thou shalt be drunken, and shalt make thyself naked. (“Edom,” a neighbor of Judah rejoiced when Judah fell. However the prophet say they will suffer the same judgment as Judah suffer. And so we did.)
-22. The punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, O daughter of Zion; he will no more carry thee away into captivity: he will visit thine iniquity, O daughter of Edom; he will discover thy sins. (For “Edom,” there is no promise of restoration, but on the contrary, a disclosure of the sins; for Zion a full judgment but a covering up for her sin, which will ultimately result in a complete Restoration, which will take place in the Second Coming.)

Chapter 5
(588)
Prayer, Confession of Guilt, And Repentance

-Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach. (As in the psalm, as in these Elegies, the spirit of God expresses his thought through whom he choses as vessels of His testimony in circumstances exhibiting the judgment, of God on that in which he himself found.
This is one of the beauties and marvels of inspiration. The Spirit himself furnishes a pleasure of his own activities in the heart of evil men. Such is his love for them. He hearkens to their sighs, record their fears, and registers their victories. Tragically there is no victory here, only “reproach.”
This prayer would be answered not only with the Lord beholding their reproach, but also holding them in view of future Restoration. Therefore, the lesson is learn, that the Lord does indeed ”consider” and He constantly work on the Restoration of the chastise ones.)
-2. Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens. (The “inheritance,” spoke of their “land” which had been given to Abraham {Gen. 13:25, 17:8}, and was consequently inherited by Abraham’s posterity. Consequently this was God’s land and God’s People, and yet “it was turn to a stranger.”)
-3. We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers are as widows. (Without the Lord they definitely were “orphans.”)
-4. We have drunken our water for money; our wood is sold unto us. (Spiritually speaking, their inheritance had been reduced to “water,” and “wood.” And even that was horrendously scarce!)
-5. Our necks are under persecution: we labour, and have no rest. (They have now become slaves of the Babylonians. As such, they were forced into hard labor, with the slightest infraction resulting in beatings.)
-6. We have given the hand to the Egyptians, and to the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread. (The idea of this verse is: now, instead of looking to the Lord they had to look to the Egyptians or the Assyrians for food. TO “give the hand,” means to beg. And these were God’s chosen People!)
-7. Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities. (This verse tells us that the iniquity of Judah had spanned many generations.)
-8. Servants have ruled over us: there is none that doth deliver us out of their hand. (The Egyptians were the children of Ham, and it is thought that the Assyrians and the Chaldeans may have been as well! As such they were servants, and, according to the Prophecy of Noah, should not have ruled over the sons of Shem {Gen. 9:27]. )
-9. We gat our bread with the peril of our lives because of the sword of the wilderness. (The people of God are now prey to anyone who want to take what little they have left.”)
-10. Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine. (The word black should have been translated “glows,” which is the feverish glow produced by gnawing hunger, which is what is actually meant.)
-11. They ravished the women in Zion, and the maids in the cities of Judah. (When the Babylonians took the city, the woman and the young ladies were fair game for animals passion of drunken soldiers.)
-12. Princes are hanged up by their hand: the faces of elders were not honoured. (None were respected at the fall of Jerusalem. The “Princes” and “Elders” were treated as brutally as any and all.)
-13. They took the young men to grind, and the children fell under the wood. (What men were left were reduced to slaves with children left to gather wood.)
-14. The elders have ceased from the gate, the young men from their musick. (“he gate”, was a term used for the building at the main entrance of the city where legal proceedings were conducted. Such have ceased! Most of the “Elders” are dead and there are no legal proceedings to conduct.
As well, the “music,” has ceased, unless it is a funeral dirge!)
-15. The joy of our heart is ceased; our dance is turned into mourning.
-16. The crown is fallen from our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned! (“The crown is fallen from our heads,” refers to the supremacy of Judah and Jerusalem for nearly 500 hundred years. No nation in the world was their equal. No city compared to Jerusalem. They were God’s chosen but now has forfeited everything, and all because of sin!)
-17. For this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes are dim.
-18. Because of the mountain of Zion, which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it. (Zion was where the temple was located. And now it is trod under by Jackels. These Jackals were the Babylonians!)
-19. Thou, O LORD, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation. (in effect, The Holy Spirit through the prophet is saying that even though Judah and the temple is no more, still, “the Lord,” remains forever.” As great as His Throne,” was yesterday as great it is today, that is, if men will only believe Him, and shall be “from generation to generation.”)
-20. Wherefore dost thou forget us forever, and forsake us so long time? (The idea is: Jehovah’s Power is unbroken, and consequently He can restore Israel. And that he shall {Rom., Chpt. 11}.)
-21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old. (“Turn thou us unto you, shows that true conversion is a Divine and not a human action. “And we shall be turned,” speaks of true heartfelt Repentance, which must be enjoyed before Salvation is granted. This, Israel will do in the coming Day, when Jesus comes back {Zech. 13:1}. )
-22. But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us. (It may seem that the book of Lamentation concludes on a very negative note. However the Prophet turns from the fulfillment of the promises at a future day back to the present, Now they are “utterly” rejected..” Now the anger of God burns hot against them. This simply says that present must be dealt with before the future can be guaranteed.)

The Apostle’s Corner: Incalculable Blood Guiltiness, The Abomination that Make America Desolate

-When Holy Spirits 1988, by a vision that left me staggering in mind showed me an overall view of how cataclysmic America’s coming judgment and destruction was in total comparison to what the prophet Jeremiah was describing here doing his great lament, immediately this testimony took over my mind and place me and this nation directly in Jeremiah's position.
-It came without warning and suddenly taking over my mind by a vast vision one morning while I was at work. It passed before my eyes, the total and abrupt destruction of all lands and territories here, and there was no apologies, no and or, no do or die, America’s judgment had been set.
-Nearly ten years later Americas destruction came in the form of a death rider I saw rise out of the earth, I witness the earth open up, and I saw this rider come out of it riding victor and victoriously. I heard the Holy Spirit declare behold, this is death, that it was riding against time, upon describable abominable, detestable lives, lands and churches.

Unrepentant Sin, would also be her end. Beware, Apb, The RAM

Sermon On The Mound 05/01/2014

Matt. 5th Chapter, Jimmy Swaggart Expositors Bible, With The Apostle's Notes In Italic Print

-And seeing the multitude he went up into a mountain (unknown, but probably was a small mountain near the sea of Galilee; two sermons, both derived on mountains open and closed the Lord’s public Ministry; the last was upon Olivet near Jerusalem {Matt. Chpt 24}: {this is obvious then, that while I was in heaven, and God was to commissioned one thing in particular to me, I saw this light like the sunlight move from behind a mountain which spoke and said, "Let My People Go," in other words, 'feed my people,' I. E. the truth of God's word set (MAKE), us, mankind free, Apb} and when he was set (he sat down in order to teach which was the custom at that time), His disciples came unto him (referring not to the twelve, but to any and all who closely followed Him at that time),

2. And he open his mouth (signifying a carefully thought out Message of purpose and will), and taught them saying (begin the greatest moment of spiritual and Scriptural instruction that had even been given in the History of mankind).

3. Blessed (happy), are the poor in spirit (conscious of moral poverty), for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven (the morals of the characteristic of the Citizens of the Kingdom of heaven; and as so it is apparent that the New Birth, is an absolute necessity for entering into that Kingdom {Jn. 3:3}, this Kingdom is present now spiritually, but not physically).

4. Blessed are they that mourn (grieve for sinners), for they shall be comforted (what the Holy will do for those who elevate their spiritual poverty, as those of unbelievers), {doing my visitation to heaven, this one phenomena thing I saw God do to the preparation of the laborers was to touch the very temple of their forehead at speaking great and swelling words to them, especially, were they instructed to be acquainted with HIS grieves and sorrows, this is the ink horn man of Ezekiel’s prophecy marking for life all those found weeping (in intercessory prayer), at the altar.. Apb}

5. Blessed are the meek (the opposite of the self-righteous the first two beatitudes grantee the meekness), for they shall inherit the earth (speaks of the coming kingdom age, when the kingdom of God will be brought down to the earth, when the Saints will rule as Christ as it’s Supreme Lord).

6. Blessed are they that do hunger and thirst (Intense desire) after righteousness (God’s righteousness; imputed by Christ, upon faith in his finished work), for they shall be filled (but first of all must be emptied of all self-worth). {I know this thirst all so well, before I experienced the risen Christ on high, I found no real desire for His word, none, but once I experienced Him on high, exhorting me three times to come, I got such a hunger, a thirst for God’s word, a wife, a mother, a household, none of which was neglected, I had lo literally pull myself from it to do anything else.}

7. Blessed are the merciful (show itself in action which goes beyond the thought), for they shall obtain mercy (to obtain mercy from God we must show mercy for others), {it is to virtually walk in the Spirit of forgiveness (unconditional love}

8. Blessed are the pure in heart (those who have received a new moral nature in regeneration), for they shall see God (will He manifest Himself in ones life). {My husband worked at night, meaning I was home alone, where my bed sat I could look straight into the heavens, this particular night I was looking up into a full moon when I heard a voice from heaven speak to me and say, blessed are the pure (sincere), in heart, for they shall see (Reign with) God.}

9. Blessed are the peacemakers (pertains to peace with God, which comes with Salvation, and all who proclaim such are called peacemakers), for they shall be called the children of God (expresses the peacemakers and those who’ve received peace). {I to think this is the Christ Lord looking at his disciples declaring how no one will recognize them as his disciples except they show love one for another, Apb}

10. Blessed are they who are persecuted for righteousness sake, (Those who operate from the spirit of self-righteousness will prosecute those who trust in God’s righteousness), for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven (having God’s righteousness which is solely in Christ, such have the Kingdom of Heaven). {because of this single promise as Jesus standing before his evil accusers, for His/ours is the Kingdom of God’s Glory forever, no trials should cause us to fret, Apb.}

11.Blessed are you, when men shall revile you and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for my name sake (Only Christ could say, “for my sake;” For He is God, there is an offence to the cross {Gal. 5:11}).

12. Rejoice (the present enter result of one who is blessed), and be exceeding glad (self-righteousness prosecuting Righteousness is the guarantee of the possession of Righteousness, and the occasion for great joy,) for great is your reward in heaven (meaning it will not necessarily come while on earth), for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you (presents the fact that God’s way will bring presecution severely so, at times, by both the World and the Church). {The Apostle Paul having visited the Paradise of God described it as unspeakable joy for a reason, upon my visit, that with each of the three doors the prophet Ezekiel open to me, unto this sun-like presence, at their end was a joy and gladness indescribably unspeakable, such await the blood redeemed, Apb}

This Earth Without The Church Bride, Apb

13. You are the salt (preservatives), of the earth: but if the salt hath lost its savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is therefore good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden unto the foot of men (Salt is the type of the word of God, the professing believer, who no longer holds to the word, is of no use to God or man). {verse 13-16 gives you some idea how distraught the earth will be after the church (the bride) is taken out, Apb}.

14. You are the light of the world (we are a refector of the light that come through Christ), a city that is sit on a hill cannot be hid (proper light will not and in fact cannot be hid).

15. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick (the light), and it gives light to all who are in the house (that is the purpose of the light).

16. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works (proper faith will always produce proper works, but proper works {self-righteousness}, will not produce proper faith), and glorify your father which is in heaven (proper works {Holy Spirit}, will glorify our father, while improper works glorifies man).

17. Think not that I am come to destroy the law (this was the Law of Moses), or the Prophets (the predictions of the Prophets of the old testament), I am not come to destroy but fulfill (Jesus fulfilled the law by meeting its demand with a perfect life, and satisfying it’s curse by dying on the cross, {Gal: 3:13),

18. For verily I say unto you (proclaims the ultimate authority), Till Heaven and Earth pass (mean to be changed or passed from one condition to another, which will take place in the coming Perfect Age, {Rev. Chpts. 21-22), one jot (smallest letter in the Hebrew alphabet), or one tittle (a minute ornamental finish to), shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled (The Law was meant to be fulfilled in Christ, and was in fact totally fulfilled in Christ, in His Life, Death and Resurrection, , with a New Testament or New Covenant, being brought about. {Acts 15:5-29, Rom. 10:4, II Cor. 3: 6-15, Gal. 3:19-25, 4:21-31, 5:1-5, 18,; Eph. 2:15, Col. 2:14-17}).

19. Whosoever shall break one of these Ten Commandments, and shall teach man so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven (those who are disloyal to the word of God shall be judged, “he shall be called the least,” means he will not be in the Kingdom at all), but whosoever shall do and teach them, the shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven (the Lord sets the Bible as the Standard for all Righteousness, and He recognizes no other).

20. For I say unto you, that except your righteousness exceed the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees (which was self –righteousness,), you shall in no case enter into the Kingdom of Heaven (the absolute necessity of the New Birth is declared here as imperative in every case).

21. You have heard that it was said by them of old time (referring back to the law of Moses), Thou shall not kill (should have been translated you shall not murder), {though Jesus having this kind of heart and faith would rather suffer harm, even death before He offend in like manner anyone else, he that live by the sword, beware} and whosoever shall kill (murder),{take human life}, shall be in danger of the judgment ({ex. 20:13, Lev. 24:21, Num. Chpt 35, Deut. 5:17; 19:12]).

22. But I say unto you (Christ give the true interpretation of the Bible, which in fact is the bible and Christ in essence, being one in the same), That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause (places unjust anger in the same category as murder, I. e. springs from an evil heart), shall be in danger of the judgment, (certain of judgment), and whosoever shall say unto his brother Raca (the word Raca and thou fool were Hebrew expressions of murderous anger), shall be in danger of the Council (Sanhedrin), but whosoever shall say thou fool shall be in danger of hell fire (men may beat the law in a human court of law, but will never do such in God’s Court of Law).

23. Therefore if you bring your gift to the alter (Referring to the brazen alter, as used in the offering of sacrifices in the law of Moses), and there remember that your brother has ought against you (is meant to describe our relationship with our fellowman);

24. Leave there your gift before the alter (the intimation is that the Lord will not accept our “gift, unless we do all within our power to make it right with the offended party),” And go your way (make every effort to bring about reconciliation, if at all possible), first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift (worship will not be accepted by the Lord, if we have wronged our brother, and have not done all within our power to make amends).

25. Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are in the way with him, (if we offend our brethren and do not make amends, and he become our adversary, or opponent; which places one in a serious situation indeed); lest at any time the adversary deliver you to the judge and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison (regarding a Believer who offends a fellow Christian, and will not make amends, God becomes that person adversary, and thereby is Judged instead by his Saviour, and spiritually speaking puts such a person in a spiritual prison.)

26. Verily I say unto you (the absolute solemnity of this statement), you shall by no means come out thence (come out of this spiritual prison), till you have paid the uttermost farthing (the Lord method of teaching was symbolic and figurative; if the Believer doesn’t make amends with his fellowman who he has wronged, he will suffer one reverse after the other; God will see to it.)

27. You have heard that it has been said by them of old time (the Mosaic Law), you shall not commit adultery (the Seventh Commandment {Ex. 20:14}).

28. But I say unto you (the phrase does not deny the law of Moses), that whosoever looks upon a woman for to lust after her (to look with intense sexual desire), has committed adultery with her already in his heart (the Lord addresses the root of sin, which is an evil heart, the Cross is the only answer). {doing the visitation to heaven, the three doors by the prophet Ezekiel open there, one of the extraordinary things this illumination becoming as a hand was seeing the evil hearts of the laborers unto the end time harvest bearing his hand, while He as well gave unto them a new heart, a heart of flesh {unconditional love, Apb.}

29, And if your right eye offend you, pluck it out, and cast it from you (as stated, the Lord’s method) of teaching was symbolic and figurative); for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not that your whole body should be cast into hell (the lord does not intend for his statement to be taken literally, as he has already explained that the offence is not in the “eye” or “hand,” but instead the” heart,” in effect a blind man can lust.)

30. And if your hand offend you, cut it off, and cast it from you; for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not that your whole body should be cast into Hell (showing the fact is such action is not stopped, the person will love their soul; as stated, the Cross is the only means by which evil passions can be subdued {Rom. 6:3-5, 11, 14}).

31. It has been said, (Deut. 24:1-4), whosoever shall put away his wife (refers to divorce proceeding), let him give her a writing of divorcement (the Jews had perverted the Law greatly weakening the sanctity of marriage.)

32. But I say unto you (the Lord now gives the true meaning of the Law), whosoever shall put away his wife (divorce her) for the sake of fornication (cohabiting with others, thereby breaking the marriage vows), causes her to commit adultery (if she marries someone else, but the intimation is that the fault is not hers). And whosoever shall marry her who is divorced commits adultery (the man who marries the woman who is divorced unscripturally, even thought it’s not her fault, commits adultery as well, we should learn here the sanctity of marriage with divorce and remarriage allowed only on the grounds of fornication and spiritual desertion {I Cor. 7:10-11}).

33. Again, you have heard that it has been said, by them of old time (such phraseology mean the word of God had been twisted to mean something it did not say), you shall not forswear yourself, but shall perform unto the Lord your oaths (Vss. 33-37 have to do with the third Commandment, “You shall not take the Name of the Lord your, God in vain,” {Ex. 20:7).

34. But I say unto you (proclaiming the true meaning of the law), Swear not at all, neither by heaven; for it is God’ throne (this has nothing do with profanity, but rather flippantly using God’s Name).

35. Not by the earth; for it is his foot stool; neither by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King (not only the name of God not be flippantly used, but as well His creation is off limits also),

36. Neither shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black (man is God’s highest creation).

37. But let your communication be (verbal communication with others), Yes, yes; No, no; for whatsoever is more than these comes of evil (the followers of Christ must stand out by their truthfulness, honesty and integrity; subterfuge and double talk are out).

Not to Destroy but to fulfillment the Law

38. You have heard that it hath been said, an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth ({Ex. 21:24; Lev. 24:20, Deut. 19:21}, the letter of the Law was that in which God would carry out in His own way, {Mat. 7:2}, man was not to resort to such, even as Jesus will now say)

39. But I say unto you, that you resist not evil (do not reward evil with evil), but whosoever shall smite you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also (once again the Languish is figurative, for the Lord when smitten on the cheek {Jn. 18:22-23} did not turn the other cheek, but with dignity rebuked the assailant). {again don’t reward evil for evil, apb.}

40. And If any man will sue you at the law and take away your coat, but let him have your cloak also (this does not refer to righteous action, which is sometime necessary, but rather to a contentious spirit, which demans man’s right down to the minute detail).

41. And whosoever shall compel you to go a mile, go with him two (the entirety of the idea has to do with the heart of man, not so much his outward action, but which must surely guide his actions {his heart, apb} accordingly).

42. Give to him who gave to you, and from him who borrow of you turn not you away (this pertains to those truly in need, and not hose who are lazy and will work {II Thess. 3:10}){do not err in judging these things erroneously, forgive as you ought , only then can you love, give as you ought, apb.}

43. You have heard that it has been said, You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemies (once again, Christ is correcting the perversion of Scripture; the “hating of the enemy,” was probably derived from Deut. 7:1-6; but nowhere in that Passage does it say to hate the enemy; while we are to hate the sin, we are not to hate the sinner [Jn. 3:16]).

44. But I say unto you Love your enemies, bless thou who curse you, do good to them who hate you, and pray for them who despitefully use you and persecute you (the actions of the enemies of goodness of righteousness are to be “hated,” with a holy hatred, but personal hatred is to be met by love);{do not err in judging these things erroneously, forgive as you ought only then can you love as you ought, apb.}.

45. That you maybe the children of your Father which is in Heaven; for He makes His sun to rise on evil and on the good, and send rain on the just and on the unjust (we are to imitate our Heavenly Father). {this is possible only by the anointing of the Holy Spirit, Christ's Cross, apb}

46. For if you love them which love you, what reward have you? Do not even the publicans the same? (Only those who have the love of God in their hearts can love those who do not love them).

47. And if you salute your Brethren only, what do you more than others? Do not even the publicans so? (If our love is of no greater definition than that of the world, then our claims are empty). {the spirit of forgiveness is unconditional love, this was the manner of love Jesus was displaying from the cross, “father forgive them, “though I warn you, a manner of contentment (Love not the world, deny oneself), quite spiritual is the case here as well, apb}

48. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your father in heaven is perfect (Jesus Is not teaching sinless perfection, for the bible does not teach such, he is teaching that our imitation of God must be as perfect as possible, the Holy Spirit alone can help us do these things, which he does according to our faith in Christ and the Cross {Rom. 8:1-2,11}).

The Apostle’s Note:

-I don’t agree that Jesus isn’t teaching sinless perfection here, it what he is, it's what he expect of the church-bride, thus he’s plain in what he’s saying, like Nicodemus, Jesus is describing life in the spirit not the flesh. Hence, most people are yet asking how can a man again be re-born? Well the answer is here but it’s only part of the answer, faith in the Spirit yes, but with that faith completely surrendered to the Holy Spirit, now that is most divine. This would mean you’re now anointed to on this daily bases put the flesh to death and allow the Holy Spirit this perfect heart, to mind to soul work, (anointing). The Holy Spirit perfect work is to make a type of Jesus Christ out of all who will believe and trust and submit to Him accordingly, this is true sanctification.

-If Jesus was tempted at all points but without sin, meaning He completely lived in the Spirit, then guess what? So can those who follow Him accordingly which is again life in, by the Holy Spirit call on Him, follow and serve Him, the Holy Spirit (Christ Cross), accordingly. Again is this what Paul is pleading of us, Roman 12: 1, 2, see also, Jn. 1:8-10, 2: 1, 2, Let us not forget, this is the Holy Spirit teaching here, this is man (all scripture), lead, anointed again by the Holy Spirit, Jesus is the word manifested in the flesh, the Holy Spirit is that anointing the truth and blood redemption of God, meaning no flesh is exempt, which is why scripture says especially in the last days, the anointing will be upon all flesh.

-Whosoever is born of God doth not commit (practiced), sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born (born again), of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. I John 3:9, 10.

-That you be aware, that you be born again, that you know an Apostle of Jesus Christ is among you. As to pluck Ambers from the burning, take heed that no man deceive you, Apb, The Rising Above Ministry (RAM). www.shottothe.blogspot.com www.lighthathcome16.blogspot.com

The Royal Priesthood, Blood Redeemed Mankind

-But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. I Pet. 2:9, 10

Prophecy Link

-I was standing over my stove, I was cooking when suddenly the Holy Spirit began speaking to me, how soon we, the church bride could be in heaven, looking down upon and praying for the tribulation saints as the Antichrist is given power to overcome them. 03/17/2011
